It's time to check out this moody, elegant new bar downtown if you haven't already — the stylish haven now offers lunch, happy hour, and late-night hours. Happy Hour is Wednesday through Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. — a rarity — and offers $2 Champagne; $3 domestics; and $5 wine and specialty cocktails while you munch on discounted charcuterie, crab and crawfish bisque, pork sliders, and more.

You may remember this spot as the CBD's Victory Lounge, which always felt a little bro-y for me. It now enjoys a more feminine flair, under new ownership by Camille Whitworth and it's a whole new lease of life. The classics are all present and correct, including a much-welcomed Bramble, which warms my British heart no end (in the early 2000s you could get a Bramble from its inventor Dick Bradsell in a dive bar in central London, happy days). House specials include the cheekily-named ‘So Pho - King Good’ made with 'Pho Juice', and I'm going to get one soon because I really need to know what that is.

Anticipating supply chain and staffing issues, she stockpiled go-cups, double-ordered spirits like whiskey and chartreuse and recruited former employees to come back for the four-day New Orleans celebration tha's the Super Bowl for her Central Business District hotspot…

As we look toward the fall season, many hotspots around town are pulling out all the stops to make sure we have seasonal options to sip on and a great place to hang out. Right now, some of our favorite places are featuring fun drinks for you to try.
